One of our directors, Alan, spent 30+ years as a contract aircraft engineer and noticed that a lot of engineers would struggle to find a suitable trustworthy payroll company to use whilst working abroad. This gave his wife Jacki (our Founder & Director) an idea, so she decided to put her accounting skills to good use and solve the problem her husband and other engineers were facing and set up Atlantic Commissions Ltd which, as the business grew, became AC Services SW Ltd.
Since it’s humble beginnings back in 2011 the business has continued to grow, from a small group of contractors to an ever growing customer base of over 2000 clients. Working with aircraft engineers, pilots, planners etc. in over 20 countries across the globe.

When working with us
It should be noted that we don’t employ you and the service we provide is a Back Office Service, meaning that you retain the flexibility of your self-employed status but, as you are not our employee, you are responsible for the payment of any taxes and insurances that you may be liable for in your country of residence and/or country of employment.
We charge an inclusive fee for generating your invoice, sending it to your Agency/Company and making the payment to you. Our fees are different for weekly invoice/payment, for 2 weekly invoice/payment and for monthly invoice/payment. Please contact us for details.
We have options of Weekly, 2 Weekly and Monthly. Fee details will be given on request. Please note that we only make payment to you once we have received the money from the Agency/Company.
No, as you are not employee of our company it is up to you ensure that you pay any taxes and insurances that you may be liable for in your country of residence and/or the country where you are working. Please note some agencies may require you to show proof of payment of taxes and insurances.
Yes, we have a Contract of Services that we request you to complete and sign before we make any payments to you. This can be done online using the free Adobe Fill & Sign app. You will also need to send us copies of your passport or ID card and a utility bill with your name and address on it. These are for proof of ID and address and are required by us to remain compliant with money laundering rules and regulations.
No, as you are not our employee you are not entitled to any holiday or sickness payments.
